Human interaction with the environment can often create a unique cultural landscape, which evolves from productions of social, religious, economic, and political establishments that reflect humanity’s beliefs. The use of spatial analysis to produce a distinct distribution and pattern of institutions, as well as produce connections between certain places helps humans create a distinct landscape. These six experiences in my life, written about in my essay, have allowed me to further understand how my cultural landscape is shaped by my beliefs and ordeals as I have grown up, and have allowed me to grasp a better understanding of several key geographic concepts, such as migration, cultural patterns, and urban land use.
